Step Up: Revolution (also known as Step Up 4, Step Up 4: Miami Heat, and previously titled as Step Up 4Ever) is an upcoming American 3Ddance film which will be produced by Step Up 3D director Jon Chu and directed by Scott Speer. It will be the fourth installment in the "Step Up" film series and is set to be released in theaters on July 27, 2012. It will star Kathryn McCormick from the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance[1]and will feature choreography by Travis Wall.[2] Unlike the first three films that were produced by Touchstone Pictures and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, this film is the first to be produced and distributed by Summit Entertainment without Touchstone's involvement.
